The love tarot cards for cuffing season
It's the season of love, what do the cards say?
November 25th, 2024
The cuffing season is a specific time of the year - usually corresponding to autumn and the arrival of the winter solstice - when there’s a particular urge to have a partner. Perhaps it's because the colder months are often associated with the idea of "hibernation," of spending more time at home, watching movies, or cooking special dinners. More often, it’s thought that all of this has an added value if shared with someone. Scientifically, the drop in serotonin due to the end of summer heat could push us to face what psychologists commonly call "seasonal affective disorder." In short, in the coming months, you might feel the need for someone to talk to (or find comfort in), or feel particularly eager to meet new people with the aim of starting a real relationship.
Tarot and Love for the End of 2024 and the Cuffing Season
I did two readings for you, one associated with the symbol of the moon, and one with the symbol of the sun. Choose instinctively which symbol you like the most, the one that immediately attracts you, and that will be your reading.
Moon
- The Empress
- The Nameless Arcana, or Death
- Justice
These are the three cards I drew for those who chose the moon symbol. A great transformation is underway compared to what you've experienced in the not-too-distant past. The Empress is a very confident woman, full of ambition and a symbol of abundance and intelligence. She’s a woman who doesn’t get discouraged and doesn’t give up in the face of difficulties, and, above all, she is capable of starting over and turning a new page.
In the near future, there may be a separation, a breaking of a strong bond that, for you, might bring some relief. This is where the second Arcana, Death, comes into play. The imagery of this card is often intimidating, but the Nameless Arcana is a complex card, dense with meaning, and often has a very positive connotation, as in this case. It foresees a separation that is a rebirth. If you have just entered someone’s life, finally, here comes Justice, because perhaps you need legitimacy in this new union and feel the need to live it out openly and calmly.
A Love Advice
Big changes around you will also bring about a personal change of your own, naturally. Surround yourself with genuine people, and above all, try to stay positive. I know not everyone believes in the law of attraction, but give it a try—try not to get discouraged and to manifest positivity, even through the words you use every day. Instead of saying "I can't do it," try using the phrase "I would like to succeed in...". Positive intentions often lead to positive outcomes and better vibrations that you send out into the universe.
Tarot Reading for Winter: Sun
- The Fool
- The Chariot
- The World
If you chose the Sun symbol, you have a strong desire to fall in love. In the coming months, your way of being will change. Don’t worry, it’s the influence of the Arcana of the Magician, or the Fool. You might, for example, feel the need for more interaction with others, to be more social. The Fool is a card that always brings a change, whether big or small. You are, or are about to be, turning a new page. The need for change dictated by the Fool is combined with the desire for concrete action of the Chariot. There is a desire to act, to change in a concrete way, to meet new people. The World comes as the crowning achievement.
The World, in the Marseille Tarot, is one of the most beneficial and auspicious cards there is. It will push you to follow your heart. If you've met someone and your intuition tells you there’s something good beneath the surface, something worth experiencing, trust it. If there’s no one, remain in a state of active-waiting: the coming months will be very positive for your heart.
How to Invite Love Without Rushing
When the Chariot card is involved, there’s often a tendency to be a bit naive and a little too hasty. Trust your intuition, because it’s not misleading, and your feelings are always important. But be careful not to rush things.
