nss G-Club: Sneakers & Beauty Rotation

nss G club unveils today a new format, born from a question that we raised spontaneously: which are the two key trends we are passionate about, and we can't definitely live without? Sneakers, obviously, and the world of beauty.

That's why we decided to combine these two worlds, so distant and yet so close to each other, creating on a monthly basis our personal nss G-Club Sneakers & Beauty Rotation.

This week has started with Blue Monday ( - se esce questa settimana) and Classic Blue was defined as "the color of the year" by Pantone, so for our first issue of the Sneakers & Beauty rotation the theme is all the shades of blue. Blue is a color that instills a feeling of peace and serenity in its deeper nuances, and recalls natural elements like sky and water in its pastel tones.

For Yves Saint Laurent between the 70s and the 80s, blue was a classic on the jackets, then became the iconic Bleu Majorelle and had a come back during the 2000s with Stefano Pilati. Or the deep, almost aggressive blue of the spectacular dresses and accessories by Thierry Mugler. Also Balenciaga made blue the trademark of many collections - we are thinking about the ironic carry shopper "ikea-inspired" of 2017 or the monochromatic hoodies and dresses - anticipating the trend of the year. During the last Fashion Week in Paris, that ended a couple of days ago, Virgil Abloh for his FW20 Louis Vuitton collection choose a setting in blue shades, with contrasting white clouds and a surreal environment, brought back in the key looks of the collection too.
