The highly anticipated new season of Euphoria 2 came out the first week of January, to the delight of fans of storyline and the incredible aesthetics built around the now stellar cast. Following the various episodes - to be released simultaneously with the United States every Monday night at 3 on Sky Atlantic in original version subtitled and at 23.15 in Italian dubbed version - More and more clearly emerges the symbolic and semiotic link of fashion and beauty with the character of reference, confirmed both by stylist Heidi Bivens in an interview with Vogue and by Donni Davi, Head of Beauty of the series on Instagram. The series shows a hyperbolic cross-section of late adolescence between relational dynamics with family, drugs, sex, toxic relationships, love and growth paths, is illuminating and sometimes raw, without filters, as well as the fashion and beauty looks that define the clue moments for each character.

Maddy Perez, with a magnetic personality and sensibly articulated on high standard beauty and courage to sell, bewitches with her confidence and an approach to free sexuality, based on competition, and is aesthetically perfect according to the heteronormative canons represented by ex-boyfriend Nate. His muse is Sharon Stone in Casino (1995) in the role of Ginger Mckenna, or in addition to imitating the blue make-up follows the footprints of the showgirl who used his appearance and his wits to manipulate men and support his wealth. Maddy does the same thing with Nate, with whom she establishes a toxic link in the balance between those who love better and more until they reach destruction. What she wears speaks of safety, sensuality and decision, values acquired in a childhood spent competing in beauty contests for girls supported by the mother beautician - trait that the character shares with the actress who plays Alexa Demie - but in reality conceals a deep vulnerability, which emerges only at important moments, 


Outfits based on deep cut-out, subversive basics, hyper-feminine coordinated in full Y2K style accompany her in her path of evolution in femme-fatal, in combination with a make-up always bold, made of sharp looks as from double-tailed eyeliner, and eyeshadows in neon palettes, from acid green to cerulean blue that emphasize the penetrating look of those who always get what they want, or almost.

S02 - Episode 01


During the evening of Capodanni Maddie wears a dress cut-out of AKNA, line of designer Aiden Euan and coordinated opera-gloves products in collaboration with the stylist of the series that totaled +900% click after airing. Glitter sandals AWGE X Amina Muaddi and a necklace in silver custom dy Bernaperci Jewley complete the perfect look for the last evening of the year. In the same episode Maddie proves to be also a vintage lover: also wearing a pair of vintage glasses Jean Paul Gaultier model 58-5201, a top with logo by Gianni Versace and Chanel SS 1997 dress with matching bag. The make-up look is a sharp graphic eyeliner with an ice white base on the eyelid, embellished with silver glitter perfectly in palette.


S02 Episode 02

In the second episode we explore tangible desires and dreams of a smart girl in love with luxury: overcoming his hatred for work Maddie is a babysitter, but only because the home of the parents of the child. Maddie sneaks into the wardrobe and tries a yellow and blue vintage Camellia dress, from the Chanel SS 1997 collection provided by @aralda.vintage and a matching bag, a pair of silver and diamond earrings with floral pattern and a matching necklace, in perfect match with the cover "Safari Babies"
by @wildflowercases. The beauty look, on the other hand, is less elaborate, with a simple black eyeliner on the top and bottom of the eye and a white eyeshadow with warm shade on the fold of the '60s style eye.
