How to get Gigi and Bella Hadid's bleached brows
Beauty hacks to "erase" eye-brows with concealer and powder
March 21st, 2022
Discolored, undone, flesh-colored, yet totally protagonist. A detail that until now had been a frame has become the main focus of this spring's beauty looks: the "invisible eyebrows", also known as bleached brows. And if Kim Kardashian and Masie Williams are the pioneers of this original trend that transforms the faces into an agender canvas, it is Versace itself that has brought the trend back into vogue during its latest fashion show that featured Gigi and Bella Hadid.
But is it possible to recreate the look without actually bleaching the eyebrows? The answer is yes. Since permanently bleaching your brows can be a bit of an extreme choice, you can try this bold trend without making a long-term commitment, keeping your real brows and their natural color completely intact. How? Through these three simple make-up steps.
Brush Them
Using a pipe cleaner or toothbrush, take some of your favorite concealer and brush it through your brows. Start at the base in the outer corner of your eye and work your way inward, covering your brows backwards and picking up the bottom of the hairs. Then, brush the eyebrow hairs in the direction you would normally do it. As for the color, choose a slightly matte shade that is lighter than your eyebrow.
Correct
Once you have the base, apply another coat of color correction. This time, possibly with even more peachy shades to further push for transparency.
Fix
Finally, if needed, fix your brows with a translucent powder in and around the brow arch. If your eyebrows are dark, you can also add some peach colored powder. This also prevents them from becoming visible in photos.
