The beauty routine to get light legs in 5 steps
Keyword: drain and activate microcirculation

Swollen ankles and feet, tingling, a feeling of heaviness, especially in the evening, after tiring days at the office or traveling for long periods of time: the heat is not a friend to the legs. But it is precisely in summer that we feel like wearing short dresses and showing off our smooth and tanned legs... How can we remedy this? By following a few little tricks: let's see them together.
Cold water
The first tip is to take advantage of the beneficial action of cold water on the legs, because it reactivates the circulation and eliminates the excess fluid that accumulates in these areas of the body. In the shower or immediately after a bath, direct the jet of cold water on your legs, starting from the ankles and moving up towards the groin. The cold causes vasoconstriction and, therefore, subsequent vasodilation, which oxygenates the tissues and also has a draining effect.
Ice effects products
For the same reason, a clever trick against the sensation of heaviness is also to put specific creams for the legs in the refrigerator so that their application gives an immediate sensation of freshness and relief: these substances promote venous circulation and combat the stagnation of liquids. They should be applied with a massage from the ankle up to the inner thigh.
Treatments in institute
Thanks to CELLU M6 ALLIANCE®, LPG tackles the problem of swelling by helping the body to drain excess fluids, stimulating circulation and reducing water retention, for legs that are light and full of vitality. The new patented handpiece combines a motorized fin and roller with sequential suction to deeply stimulate the tissues. By stimulating the skin, endermologie® painlessly but effectively reactivates the circulation, thus relieving venous congestion to regain tone and immediate and lasting relief.
Diet
As far as diet is concerned, the habit that most helps to limit the feeling of heaviness in the legs is to include blackberries, raspberries and blueberries in the daily diet, as well as kiwis and citrus fruits, which contain bioflavonoids and vitamin C, substances that strengthen the capillaries. Conversely, you should limit the use of salt in food, which retains fluid.
Physical activity
In addition to a healthy diet, it is a good idea to do some healthy physical activity. We are not necessarily thinking of a gym or a sports center: for our legs and thighs, walking, a half-hour walk at a brisk pace every day can also be a cure-all. To optimize the results, however, it would be useful to do some swimming or water aerobics. Jogging is also great for exercising leg muscles and burning fat and calories, as is skating, especially on rollerblades, which is great for the thighs and buttocks. Cycling is another friend of the legs, because it makes them work gently, while an original way to keep moving could be - for example - enrolling in a dance school.
Last but not least, it is better not to cross your legs; drink a lot, do small exercises to move your ankles when you sit for a long time; rest with a pillow under your mattress, give up twelve heels, tight shoes and tight clothes when it is particularly hot. The aim is to improve circulation and prevent fluid retention.
