The best beauty looks from Paris Haute Couture Week FW23

From 3 to 6 July 2023, Paris was the undisputed queen of the catwalk with its Haute Couture week. A week in which no less than 32 fashion houses presented their most striking, refined and sophisticated fashion creations. The City of Love turned into the perfect stage for the FW23-24 Haute Couture collections, where each brand tried to steal the attention and hearts of all fashion fans, and not only them. The beauty looks were also on par and we at nss G-Club have picked out the 10 beauty must-haves for the upcoming season. Paris, je t'aime!

Make-up Zuhair Murad FW23

Incredibly sleek - and chic - hairstyles with low chignons dominate the catwalks this season, as seen on Zuhair Murad; the make-up, sophisticated and daring, is by Charlotte Tilbury.

Make-up Yuima Nakazato FW23

As Yuima Nakazato's models show, a little glitter can make all the difference. The effect is not that of a festival glitter, but focuses on the inner area of the eyes, the forehead and the eyebrows, adding glamour to an otherwise plain look.

Make-up Giambattista Valli FW23

The glossy hair at the top seen at Giambattista Valli was reflected in the make-up, with models showing a smooth complexion. Some, as in this case, wore a double layer of false lashes, resulting in elongated and exaggerated eye shapes that were the focus of the look.

Make-up Ardazaei FW23

Here the make-up was completely minimalist, except for a flowing graphic line that took the architectural hairstyle in a bold direction.

Make-up Giorgio Armani Privé FW23

Ethereal and delicately romantic, Giorgio Armani Privé make-up focused on sleek red lips, while the hair at the top of the head was combed into delicate waves.

Chanel FW23 Make-up

Chanel's make-up was effortless, with cool-toned, softly gradient eyeshadows, light contouring and lightly tinted lips in soft pink.

Make-up Christian Dior FW23

At Christian Dior, the intricate braided hairstyles started below the models' temples and were coiffed into a low 'beavertail' silhouette at the nape of the neck.

Make-up Rami Al Ali FW23

Rami Al Ali reminded us of the timeless appeal of matte cherry red lips - especially when paired with minimal make-up.

Make-up Stéphane Rolland FW23

Another beauty classic, smokey eyes have never been more seductive than at Stéphane Rolland, where models wear them with elegant gathered hairstyles adorned with sleek white bows.

So Couture Fashion Week FW23 gave us an extraordinary show of beauty, with looks that captivated and inspired us. From the refined elegance of Zuhair Murad's low bun hairstyles, to the subtle but mesmerising addition of glitter in the eye and brow area by Yuima Nakazato, to the perfection of details like Giambattista Valli's false lashes and red lips, each look brought a special and magical element to the runway.

This season of Couture Fashion Week showed us that beauty can be both bold and delicate, futuristic and romantic, all at the same time.
