It's "the summer of strawberry girls" That's according to Hailey Bieber, who decided to embrace the aesthetic, at least when it comes to makeup, after receiving more than 13.8 million views on TikTok for the hashtag #strawberrygirl. In the pictures, you can see freckles, flushed cheeks and a Rhode's strawberry sticker on the tip of her nose, hinting at the upcoming launch (maybe some blush or lip balm?). Amidst enthusiastic comments from her fans, Hailey also posted a tutorial, this time on TikTok, showing step-by-step how to pull off her strawberry-style make-up. Spoiler? Lots and lots of blush.
Who is a Strawberry Girl?
After the Tomato Girls, it's time for another trend that fits into the Foodcore category. The Strawberry Girls' aesthetic is a mix of coquette and balletcore, topped with sugary pink icing. Their world is made up of pink dresses with hints of white and red, where romance and an almost fairytale vibe prevail. A strawberry girl is as comfortable in the city as she is in the countryside and loves ballet (especially for tutus), outdoor picnics, barefoot walks in a garden full of flowers and picking strawberries in her wicker basket (yes, just like Little Red Riding Bonnet). In her cosmetic bag, there is no shortage of soft and creamy pink blush, strawberry-flavoured lip balm for "juicy" lips and strictly pink nails or, for those more experienced in the art of manicure, fruit and red tips.

In her tutorial, Hailey Bieber promises to reveal the secrets to "Everyday Strawberry Make-up". The first step is to moisturise. The model uses Rhode's Glazing Milk and Peptide Glazing Fluid, then brushes her eyebrows, applies a cream bronzer around her hairline and under her cheekbones and blurs it, followed by some concealer. Her interpretation of strawberry girl make-up provides a fresh, almost no-make-up complexion, but if you want, you can add a CC or BB cream as a base. An important step is cream blush on the cheeks. Hailey blends two shades together and adds a peachy highlighter. She then completes the look by adding freckles on the nose and cheeks with an eye pencil; she creates a subtle cat eye and finally smudges the same blush she used on the cheeks on the lips, followed by Rhode's Peptide Lip Treatment.
