The best outfits and beauty looks from the second night of Sanremo 2025

Who wins the prize of most handsome? Elodie in Gucci or Achille Lauro in Dolce & Gabbana?

The best outfits and beauty looks from the second night of Sanremo 2025 Who wins the prize of most handsome? Elodie in Gucci or Achille Lauro in Dolce & Gabbana?

With the first evening behind us, which saw all the competing artists perform, Sanremo 2025 continues its marathon toward the final, already seeming to be out of breath. This edition certainly does not shine for its energy or interesting moments—even scandals and gossip, which usually accompany the Festival, seem absent. After all, Carlo Conti has banned monologues, not so much because they unnecessarily prolong the show, but for fear that they might touch on topics uncomfortable for Rai and its current management.

Sanremo second night: Bianca Balti and Damiano David's looks

Fortunately, Bianca Balti, co-host of the evening, brought some life to the Ariston stage. Stunning and cheerful, she at least elevated the fashion side of the event. Styled by Simone Rutigliano, her first look was a custom Valentino gown in powder blue silk chiffon with feather details. Then, she dazzled in an Armani Privé FW22 creation covered in midnight blue sequins, featuring a deep neckline. The third outfit was a nude-toned Fendi dress with a flared skirt and halter neckline, playing with shimmer and transparency. Her fourth and final look was a Roberto Cavalli FW2005-2006 dress in silver tones, adorned with sequins and rhinestones. The diva touch? A pale pink fur stole.

Another brief awakening from Sanremo's dullness came from Damiano David, who returned to the Ariston after his 2021 victory, this time without Måneskin. He performed twice: once to pay tribute to Lucio Dalla and again to present his debut solo single, Born With A Broken Heart. Both of Damiano’s looks were by Valentino, styled by Michele Potenza.

Back to the competition, the second night of Sanremo 2025 revealed the finalists in the "Nuove Proposte" category: Alex Wyse and Settembre. After this first result, the show continued with performances from 15 artists (the remaining 14 will perform tomorrow), bringing a mix of music and fashion. What have we learned in terms of style? Never step out without Boston Strangler-style leather gloves and feathers, à la Valeria Marini in the early 2000s.

The best outfits and beauty looks from the second night of Sanremo 2025

Alex Wyse

Brand: Alessandro Vigilante

Look: Wannabe rockstar. After all, he is performing a song called Rockstar. Alex Wyse did his homework well: a ballad that is supposed to be "a rebellion against today's logic" (though the writer fails to see any real countercultural message), perfectly styled hair, and black eyeliner on the lower lash line. His outfit is equally well-calculated, like a student aiming for top marks: a sleeveless light blue latex shirt, high-waisted red trousers, and an abundance of jewelry.

Vale LP e Lil Jolie

Look: Vale LP and Lil Jolie sing about respect in relationships in Dimmi tu quando sei pronto per fare l’amore, ending their performance holding two signs reading, "If I don't want to, you can't." The message is clear and powerful, echoing the slogan of the Una Nessuna Centomila Foundation’s campaign for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in 2024. Styled by Caterina Adele Michi, the result was reminiscent of The Shining twins but in a Gen Z version. More interesting was the indie sleaze make-up by Rossella Pastore, created with Estée Lauder products, including the new Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer and the iconic Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10.

Elodie

Brand: Gucci

Look: Elodie returned to the Ariston stage to perform Dimenticarsi alle 7, swapping yesterday’s Prada ensemble for a custom cherry-red Gucci gown, following the advice of her stylist, Giulia Cova. The bustier dress featured a mermaid silhouette, entirely covered in feathers, with a matching feather boa. The look was completed with minimalist patent leather sandals and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Once again, Elodie wore her hair down in sleek, shiny beach waves styled by Andrea Soriga. Her make-up, done with L’Oréal Paris products, was in brown tones, while her stiletto nails—on both hands and feet—were painted deep burgundy by Letizia Scotelli, aka Unghie Supreme.

Serena Brancale

Brand: Balestra

Look: Serena Brancale performed Anema e core, wearing another Balestra outfit styled by Ylenia Puglia, essentially repeating her debut look at Sanremo 2025. The ensemble—this time in champagne tones—consisted of a sequined top and a long skirt with a side slit. Her make-up remained delicate and creamy, with eyeshadow matching her outfit, while her lips and cheeks were in an antique pink shade. The only slight variation? Her platinum blonde hair, now styled with an '80s-inspired voluminous front curl instead of being slicked back.

Fedez

Brand: Atelier Versace

Look: Tonight, Fedez appeared more relaxed, even in terms of style. He left his jacket at the hotel and stepped onto the stage in another all-black Atelier Versace outfit, including contact lenses that turned his eyes completely black. Styled by Giulio Casagrande, the singer of Battito wore a black silk shirt with a subtle baroque pattern and tailored trousers. The result? A bit monotonous.

Francesca Michielin

Brand: Miu Miu

Look: Like her colleague Serena Brancale, Francesca Michielin wears a variation of the look—styled by Susanna Ausoni and designed by Miu Miu—that she showcased on Tuesday: a cut-out top and wide-leg pants with a double-length effect, this time in shades of blue and gray. It doesn’t enhance her as it should. Angelo Rosa Uliana (using Aveda products) styled her hair in a sleek chignon, leaving the strands of her hime haircut to frame her face. For make-up, Luciano Chiarello created a bold and graphic look. Her complexion is flawless, her lips are nude, and her eyes are accentuated with a halo make-up effect. Clinique products were used for the look. Jewels are DoDo.

Bresh

Brand: Ami Paris

Look: Bresh, once again in Ami Paris and APM Monaco jewelry, styled by Michele Potenza, takes the stage to perform La tana del granchio. Is the song better—a track about the need for a safe space to embrace vulnerability—the white blouse and fluid black trousers combo, or his ’90s-inspired haircut? The tough verdict is up to the fans.

Achille Lauro

Brand: Dolce&Gabbana

Look: After the black tailcoat from the first night, Achille Lauro wears another custom look by Dolce&Gabbana, inspired by old Hollywood icons. This time, stylist Nicolò Cerioni helped him choose a double-breasted white pinstriped wool gabardine suit, complete with a matching overcoat, adorned with a romantic black velvet and organza floral brooch draped over his shoulders. Lauro maintains the same beauty look from his Sanremo 2025 debut, crafted by Mimmo Laserra and Michele Mancaniello using Dolce&Gabbana Beauty products: slicked-back hair with a deep side part and subtly defined eyes.

Giorgia

Brand: Dior

Look: If you didn’t like Tuesday’s see-through dress, you might like even less the one chosen by Giorgia and her stylist Valentina Davoli for wednesday. Staying loyal to Dior, the singer wears a custom-made black tuxedo. Under the blazer, a lace and sheer top peeks through, echoing her previous outfit. Giorgia also keeps her beauty look consistent, focusing on natural elegance and subtle charm, with sleek hair styled in a side part and a soft smokey eye.

Rkomi

Brand: Jordan Luca

Look: Yesterday in white, today in black. Rkomi goes for a minimalist approach with a Jordan Luca suit. The styling is particularly interesting: as per his usual, he wears the blazer over his bare torso, tucked into high-waisted trousers. The look is completed with a thin, glossy black leather belt. Do you like it?

Rose Villain

Brand: Fendi

Look: Rose Villain and her stylist, Celia Arias, chose a cocoa-colored dress with a hint of pale pink at the bottom. The piece, from Fendi's SS25 collection, features thin straps and a long, see-through-effect skirt. The Fuorilegge singer paired the gown with blush-colored pumps and minimal jewelry. Rose went for a wet-look beauty style, from her sleek side-parted hair to her dewy skin, giving her face and body a fresh, radiant glow. Just like the night before, she kept her make-up in soft pink tones.
