The SS21 collection of ADĀMO
Second skin, inclusive, nude-shaded garments

Sometimes in the darkest periods people bring out their best, free their creativity and realize interesting projects. It happened to Andrea Adamo who last June, while the world was upset by the pandemic and protests against racism in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, found ADĀMO. Playing with his surname, the young Calabrian designer recalls Adam and Eve and the concept of nude as normality, a celebration of the body and as the pride of simply showing yourself for what you are.
This is how NUDO was born, an SS21 collection based on the idea of inclusiveness, bodysuits positivity and genderless introducing a series of jersey and second-skin pieces, made without seams and available in leather shades: tank tops, cotton harnesses, cyclists, leggings and knitwear bodysuits, sequins and bodycon dresses. Among the most interesting offers there are two items that have become must-have in the last seasons: shapewear and the bodycon dress with cut-out details revealing the underwear, which Andrea Adamo inspired by some antique vases seen in an exhibition in Malpensa.
