Acne Studios presents the new capsule made with deadstock fabrics With Repurposed, the Swedish brand is renewing its commitment to sustainability

Acne Studios has found a creative and sustainable way to recycle excess fabrics and deadstock materials from its past collections, turning them into the raw material for Repurposed items. After the successful debut last September with a capsule that reinvented with the characteristic Scandinavian minimalist style tweed and denim, the project is now back with a second chapter focused on the match between red leather and black denim.

Jonny Johansson revisits the essentials of the female wardrobe by mixing materials, often with contrasting colors or textures, kept together by zippers. The result is a series of basic pieces, featuring a few eye-catching details, such as the oversized black jacket in denim and wool, made unique by two front pockets, removable sleeves and visible stitching, or the black and red paneled mini skirt in rigid denim and leather. The collection is completed by a pair of high-waisted pants reproducing the look and design of the skirt with the addition of zippers on the sides of both legs and the patchwork effect shirt with a relaxed fit combining 5 different colors and materials including animal patterns, lilac and a red-orange.

Acne Studios' new Repurposed capsule is available online with prices ranging from €400 for the mini skirt to €600 for the pants.
