UNIQLO and Jil Sander are back together for a new collaboration. The retailer and the designer have announced the reviving of their partnership for SS21 as well, which follows the great success of the capsule presented a few months ago for FW20, exactly 11 years after the first time the two had worked together.
The two partners, in fact, have revealed that the proposal of + J for next spring-summer will be composed of "essential modern uniforms that only UNIQLO and designer Jil Sander can create". The collection, in fact, follows the minimalist style of the previous one, which featured clean lines and basic items, perfect for everyday outfits. Each piece is light, the silhouettes are soft, almost airy, characterized, as Sander herself said, by "a kind of purity that makes us think of regeneration and a new beginning." A few examples? The long oversized coat with 3D volumes, the classic polo shirt, the white shirt with a relaxed fit, the graphic dress with half sleeves or the flared skirt.
All the pieces of the Uniqlo +J Collection are available from today the brand's stores.
