Baurdelle: the collection for dogs that combines creativity and craftsmanship
To make your four-legged friend the next fashion icon in town

Those who have a dog often notice that great similarity that is established with their four-legged friend. This was demonstrated by Disney in 1961, in the famous scene of 101 Dalmatians when dogs and owners parade en pendent for a walk. And if it is absolute truth that the choice of the dog breed often ends up reflecting the personality of the owner, it is equally true that the style of the owner somehow affects the bearing of the furry friend. Thus, in the era of aesthetics in which we live, even the four-legged friend can be fashionable. The choice of coats, harnesses, collars and leashes - not to mention the immense universe that revolves around home decor, including kennels and sets of bowls - thus becomes a moment of leisure for the most fashionable pet owners. Indeed, often, there are those who give up buying a garment for themselves, in order to show off their favorite dog with the coolest collar + leash set in the neighborhood. So, for those looking for a design concept between one canine fitting and another with the right ironic attitude - preferably with a touch of provocation - here is Baurdelle.
Designed by the fashion expert Claudia Tacchella during the lockdown period, it is a collection, for dogs and owners, free from rules and labels (yes, they also exist in the dog world).
«I decided to put all my skills and ideas at the service of a brand that could tell my vision, an irony that the world needs and a Made in Italy that wasn't just a label. I wanted to experiment and take risks, in an environment that concerned fashion but was less tied to its rules. In short, that it would allow me more freedom and satisfaction». - explains the designer.
The result is an irreverent collection, which combines pop colors with an ideology that revolves, with irony, around fetish aesthetics. All the pieces are made with quality leather, and are born to transform the dog into the fashion icon at the park, thanks to studded chokers and heart-shaped harnesses, firmly tied to the chest and made to measure. An unconventional combination of creativity, craftsmanship and humor, which gives personality during walks even to the non-protagonist on the street, or her mistress. Yes, because the leash is a jewel that can be tied to the wrist, like a bracelet. Quoting the Disney Dalmatian Pongo, you will be "a very uncommon breed". But, we add, extremely luxurious.
