Nike presents "The Toughest Athletes"

From Chiara Ferragni to Emily Ratajkowski, there are many celebrities who in the last year are showing us how beautiful their time as new mothers or moms-to-be is, but they often forget to tell us that giving birth to a child is probably one of the events that most changes the human body. Nike does it in a new video titled The Toughest Athletes starring Serena Williams, Alex Morgan, Perri Edwards, Bianca Williams, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Nia Ali.

"Pregnancy is the ultimate endurance test. A marathon measured in months, not miles. Some days, you feel powerful. Other days, you don't. But you keep going, because you're a mother. And mothers are the toughest athletes. Nike (M) is designed to support you on the ultra-, ultra-marathon we call motherhood. You are stronger than ever. And we're with you every step of the way."

Nike celebrates motherhood as a symbol of women's strength in a new project created with more than 22 hours of footage collected via Zoom. The 20 female athletes, both professional and amateur, were filmed by their friends and families as they lift weights, jump, run, surf, dance and play tennis, showing unique beauty, joy and strength.
