The new Fendi logo FF Vertigo for the SS21 collection
Designed in collaboration with the visual artist Sarah Coleman
May 13th, 2021
Fendi renews its collaboration with visual artist Sarah Coleman for the SS21 collection, where the logo of the brand is distorted with a psychedelic effect, called Vertigo, which takes its name from the eponymous movie by Hitchcock, the first to introduce the effect in cinema to make the audience feel "dizzy".
The capsule is a combination of the brand's codes revisited in a contemporary way, and is designed through a process of experimenting with new techniques to reinvent existing materials and products linked to the heritage of the Italian Maison.
The protagonists are accessories: the FF Vertigo logo is embossed on the iconic bags of the brand like the Baguette and the Peackaboo, but also on the men's models. But also watches, micro bags and sneakers, and functional items for outdoor sports are part of the summer capsule collection, like the backpack and the camping tent in collaboration with Ferrino, the vintage polaroid to immortalize the carefree summer holidays, and the bento box co-signed by Alessi.
The apparel is in perfect athleisure mood, combining functional details and technical fabrics with fresh and graceful materials such as organza.
The Fendi summer capsule collection with FF Vertigo pattern is available in the store and online on fendi.com.
