Swarovski presents Collection II
The brand's heritage is revisited according to a contemporary and inclusive point of view
September 8th, 2021
Swarovski and the new Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert just unveiled a collection that shows a new image of the brand and its crystals, made of experimentation, innovation and freedom of expression. In fact, Collection II reinterprets the rich heritage of the Austrian brand in a contemporary way, celebrating inclusivity and individuality through new fashion icons like Lourdes Leon, daughter of Madonna and young activist, but also Adwoa Aboah, Sharon Alexie, Kelsey Lu, portrayed wearing the Maison's jewels by photographer Mikael Jansson.
Crystals are tinged with vibrant shades and are transformed into maximalist, cool, bold charms, while the allure of transparent crystal, in its purest form, blends with references to the Bohemian culture. The result is unique pieces to combine with each other to embellish your favorite looks.
"We designed jewels everyone can play and experiment with, using crystal as a tool for expressing their individuality" - says Giovanna Engelbert, Swarovski's Creative Director.
The collection was unveiled on Instagram through 25 portraits that depict an inclusive cast at 360 degrees, without distinction of age, gender, or origins, where each subject is called to express their own style and uniqueness, enhancing the Maison's jewels according to their own point of view.
