Melissa presents the new collection in collaboration with Y/Project

Think Cinderella's slipper, the footwear of eighteenth-century porcelain figurines and the textures of Rococo vases. Glenn Martens renews its partnership with Melissa and revisits two models of the Beach slide line of the Brazilian brand. The creative director of Y/Project plays with unusual cuts, shapes, conceptual details, playful volumes and historical references to give a new look to mules and slides that combine elegance, romanticism, comfort and a touch of eccentricity. 

Martens creates pointed silhouettes, adds textures that look like intricate arabesques, flower applications and spool heels, uses a washed-out patent leather effect and 3D wallpaper effect prints, giving an unexpected and cool twist to the royal mood. The result is a selection of colorful and versatile footwear, to be worn from morning to night to feel unique and special.
