Maneskin's tricolor look for the Anna Wintour meeting
The band celebrates its success in the States with a visit to her editorial office with a group outfit

Young, handsome, talented, sassy and stylish. Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio have made it. They have pushed away the stereotype of the spaghetti-and-mandolin Italian and established themselves as rock bands and style icons. In recent months they have racked up one success after another: two nominations at the Mtv Video Music Awards, in the categories Best New Artist and Best Alternative Video for I wanna be your slave; the top spot on Billboard's U.S. Alternative Airplay chart with Supermodel (according to Mediabase, they are the only artists to reach No. 1 with two songs this year); and an appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago alongside music stars such as Metallica, Green Day, Dua Lipa and Machine Gun Kelly. Maneskin celebrated this golden period with a live at Rome's Circus Maximus also attended by Angelina Jolie with daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and with a very special meeting with Anna Wintour.
The Roman band flew to the States for the July 31 live show at Lollapalooza, but before reaching Chicago, they made it to New York to visit the editorial office of Vogue America. The image posted on the magazine's Instagram shows the famous editor in floral chemisier, python boots and ever-present sunglasses, alongside the four rockers, all dressed by Gucci, in shades reminiscent of the Italian flag. The patriotic color scheme elevates them to perfect ambassadors of our country, while the shot looks like a proof of their official coronation as international style icons by the stern fashion queen. Damiano and Thomas both opted for velvet pants. The frontman chose them in red and paired them with a matching printed shirt in a 1970s mood; while the latter preferred them green with an ivory shirt, complemented by a knotted scarf around his neck. Ethan went for the logo mania with a silk shirt decorated with the iconic double logo and black & white pants. A similar shirt, but on gray, for Victoria, who wore it open, leaving her black bra in view, and paired it with cherry red flared pants. Will the four replicate similar looks on their U.S. tour, which starts Oct. 31 from Seattle? If you don't already have a ticket, you'll have to find out on social media, because apparently the dates are already sold out!
