Vetements to design costumes for Madonna tour

Vetements to design costumes for Madonna tour Guram Gvasalia collaborated closely with the star on the new looks

The news was announced by Guram Gvasalia himself: Madonna will wear designer clothes by Vetements on her upcoming tour. The first show was supposed to take place in Vancouver on 15 July, but due to a serious bacterial infection, the pop star was recently hospitalised and although she is now back, she is having to take a rest period that has forced her to postpone the big celebration of her 40-year career to a later date. This only adds to fans' anticipation for what promises to be a grand event. The consolation prize? Imagine Madge in the new looks Guram has created for her. Guram is thrilled and grateful to have worked with the Queen of Pop:

"Madonna, hank You so much for the last months! Working so closely together on the costumes for your tour and bringing our visions and creativity into one big celebration. Designing your costumes was such a privilege and an honor. Seeing you work, seeing your drive and determination is so inspiring, now I understand why you are who you are. You are a fighter, you are an icon, you are the queen".

In the photo posted on Instagram, we see the Georgian designer sitting next to Madonna on the artist's couch, in front of a computer and a stack of notebooks and papers that we assume are filled with sketches and notes about the upcoming shows on The Celebration Tour. Of the collaboration, which is still top secret, Guram wrote:

"I think it lends a certain credibility to be chosen to work with her even though she can ask anyone in the world. Many people would do it for free without being as difficult as me. That trust gives you a certain confidence and makes you realise that you have done something right. That's really a blessing."

Who knows if the result can match the costumes Jean Paul Gaultier designed for the legendary Blonde Ambition Tour?
