Now, as we prepare to enter 2024, it's time to take stock of the past 12 months, at least from a fashion, beauty and social media perspective. The best life lesson we learnt in 2023: There are no style rules

Thanks to TikTok and social debates, 2023 was the year we learnt many things about ourselves and how we live in these uncertain times: from the fact that it's okay to be like other girls, even compliment them, to the fact that you don't have to be ashamed of being cringe, but that it's important to be yourself and enjoy life, in the name of spontaneity and joy. The same sentiment underlies the most important life lesson we've learnt this year, which is that there are no style rules. Taylor Swift docet. Fashion is also communication, it says something about our personality and can't be restricted by outdated do's and don'ts. You can wear a black top with brown trousers, a blue jumper with a black mini skirt. The shoes don't have to be the same colour as the bag. The other trends we liked?
