DARKPARK, the made-in-Italy brand that made pants cool again
Jeans, cargo, chinos and five pockets with an oversized fit and refined details

Finding the perfect pair of pants can be a lifelong quest. They're too tight, the color isn't right, the silhouette is off, the fit isn't quite there, the material itches. The solution? Creating a series of designs that make a statement, that speak to us. That's what Inna Gerchikov, a designer of Canadian origin who moved to Italy in 2004, did. For years, she wore men's jeans and pants, altering them to fit her petite, slender figure because she couldn't find a garment on the market that reflected her tomboy style and love for oversized clothing. So, in 2021, leveraging her extensive expertise in the fashion industry, she founded DARKPARK, a 100% Made in Italy brand that's cool and sophisticated.
In a short time, the brand has captured the attention of the public, growing both in terms of desirability and buzz, as well as in sales. The secrets to this success are the numerous variations on the theme of pants that nod to the street scene, clubbing world, and utility wear, with easy-to-wear garments made from premium materials and finished with different details such as raw cuts, drawstrings, leather accents, applied oversized pockets, and cuffs with straps. The plus? A focus on sustainability throughout the production process, from the factory to the final product. Intercepting the recent trend of cargo pants and all things oversized, DARKPARK has secured a place in over 100 high-end retail outlets worldwide, including Bergdorf Goodman, Antonia, SSENSE, Machine-A, JOYCE, TSUM, Neiman Marcus, FWRD, Lane Crawford, Holt Renfrew, 10 Corso Como, Boon the Shop ...........
The SS24 collection continues to evolve the initial concept of the project, offering jeans, cargo pants, chinos, five-pocket styles, and shorts characterized by wide legs, a wide variety of treatments and washes (stained, bleached dyed, torn, and sandblasted), fresh and refined materials, and attention to detail. The highlights are the jeans, ranging from artfully deconstructed models to those embellished with sparkling sequins, from aged-effect ones to multi-pocket styles with a relaxed fit. The new collection also includes denim shirts and Tencel, a natural fabric originating from wood and ultimately biodegradable, crafted with the same treatments as the trousers, perfect for creating a cohesive look or paired with wardrobe essentials to add a special twist to everyday outfits.
The SS24 collection by DARKPARK is available on the brand's website and at authorized retailers.
