Malone Souliers and Tabitha Simmons: all about the new exclusive shoe capsule

After the success of last May, Malone Souliers and Tabitha Simmons return to collaborate on a second shoe capsule collection. Coco Fong and Valerio Bava, the brand's co-creative directors, worked closely with the London-based fashion editor and stylist to create a fresh and timeless footwear line, combining English eclecticism and hyper-feminine design with the know-how and DNA of Malone Souliers. "We designed this collection imagining our ideal holidays and aiming to infuse each style with the effortless and carefree aesthetic of seaside days," stated Fong and Bava. The result? Pumps and sandals with classic shapes reimagined through materials, decorations, and contemporary tones, with great attention to small details to elevate everyday essentials.

While one of the standout pieces of the first collection was the Cameron slingback, made of satin and adorned with floral crystal decoration, in this second collaboration between Malone Souliers and Tabitha Simmons, pumps and sandals evoke summer with nautical inspiration, metallic decorations, and rope soles typical of espadrilles. An example is the Saffron espadrille, a chic striped flat with a waxed canvas bow that perfectly balances comfort and style, and the Isla and Eloise heeled mules, made of striped shirting fabric and finished with delicate ribbons, giving them a playful yet sophisticated touch. The Kate flat in linen is also inspired by Tabitha Simmons’ classic Mary Jane, the Katarina heeled sandal, and the Keke slip-on, both in cotton and adorned with bold gold and silver studs. The star of the collection, available on the website and at Harrods' Shoe Heaven, is the iconic Liberty 90mm pump, featuring elegant mesh sides, crystal-embellished trims, and a grosgrain ribbon.

Nautical-inspired striped cotton, metallic decorations, rope soles typical of espadrilles, and other unexpected textures and precious details from the second Malone Souliers x Tabitha Simmons collection serve as the backdrops for the campaign shots. Each shoe is photographed against a background that mirrors its textures, patterns, and hues. As for the color palette, it is interesting to note the shift towards autumnal shades such as navy, beige, and burgundy.
