I'm Dunia, I'm 31 years old and I'm originally from Bergamo and Milanese by adoption. Being a Libra I won't tell you which is my favorite movie. Over the years I have lived in Lugano, London and Paris. I am the founder of Dunia Algeri Atelier, a brand of handmade slow fashion clothing, and TABA CBD SKINCARE, the first cosmetics brand based on this molecule of hemp. I am also a mom of a 3 year old tornado girl, my biggest project.
For me, being a woman means being able to be many people in one: entrepreneur, woman, mother, without having labels or having to choose to be only one of these figures.
It means choosing who you want to be, it means accepting that perfection doesn't exist and that it's okay if every day we don't try to be the best version of ourselves. Sisterhood for me means walking into a room full of unknown women and immediately finding a connection, it means helping instead of competing, it means not judging but understanding.
The biggest lesson has been not to judge, ever. Don't judge other people's choices, other people's behaviors, and other people's lives - you can never know how you would act in other people's shoes.
Another very important lesson for me is that mistakes are useful, sometimes more than success: they help you grow and move forward with a different awareness, you just have to believe in your project 1000%.
