Although the release has been postponed to March 4, 2022, the hype around The Batman, the new movie directed by Matt Reeves dedicated to the Dark Knight, grows more and more. Fans are curious to see how Robert Pattinson will play the superhero, previously made immortal on the big screen by actors like Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, but, above all, to discover the outfits of Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman. Following the trailer released last summer, the first images arrived directly from the set in Liverpool, where the film is currently shooting, giving us a look at the new Batman and at his villains.

All eyes are on Selina Kyle, Catwoman's alter ego, who walks down the stairs in a fetish-chic look: black vinyl trench coat, fishnet stockings, sadomasochistic lace-up boots and a big flat hat decorated with bows. These first images suggest that, thanks to the costumes created by Jacqueline Durran, who won two Oscars for Anna Karenina and Little Women, Zoë could compete with the fascinating performance of Michelle Pfeiffer, the most beloved Catwoman ever.

Next to Zoë, in a scene depicting a funeral, there is an emaciated Robert Pattinson in a long black coat, John Turturro in the role of Carmine Falcone and Colin Farrell who look almost unrecognizable as Penguin.

The movie will star Paul Dano, who will play the role of the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis, the unforgettable Gollum from the Lord of the Rings saga, chosen to be Bruce Wayne's faithful butler.

The appointment at the cinema to watch The Batman is March 2022.
