10 dream homes where celebrities are spending the lockdown
From Serena Williams' Florida mansion to Emily Ratajkowski's art-filled home
March 30th, 2021
This past year, we, common mortals, have been locked in tiny apartments, walking between the bedroom and the kitchen, using the living room as a multi-functional space where start working stations, DAD and Netflix marathons coexist. Celebrities don't. Their idea of lockdown is on a whole other level. It's made up of luxurious mega mansions offering every possible comfort: from the spa to the private bowling alley, from the swimming pool to the karaoke room (Serena Williams has one, don't you?), from the corner bar to a collection of artworks that could be compared to the MOMA's one. There are people like Madonna, who has been living in Lisbon for some time now, who chose to return to Los Angeles because of the pandemic and rent Sir Paul McCartney's house and those like Lily Collins who is spending the last months in a 1950s house furnished in Hollywood Regency style that she has just put on the market to find a new love nest with her boyfriend Charlie McDowell. They change the owner, the location, the interior design, but not glamour, luxury and titanic size. If you don't believe us, just take a look at the hundreds of Instagram shots and images from the new homemade red carpets at the Emmys and Golden Globes and you'll wish you were quarantined at Emily Ratajkowski or JLo's house, anywhere but our apartment.
