Update 16.07.20: It was Irina herself who denied the rumors - again according to an insider - to prevent the newspapers from continuing to talk about the alleged love story between the two. According to the source, the supermodel has "friendzoned" the rapper, who "is just a friend to her", and "he's single, and he's fine, he's not looking for relationships at the moment".

After the romance between JLo and Ben Afleck, there is a new couple alert: Kanye West and Irina Shayk are in love! The first to spread the rumor was the IG account  DeuxMoi to which a source seems to have revealed that "Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk aka Bradley Cooper's baby mama", thus sending all the major gossip magazines looking for new details on the alleged relationship. Insiders have mixed opinions and are divided between those who claim that "after further looking into this, I don't know if dating is the right word, but there is perhaps some interest there" and those who are convinced that theirs is a "special friendship". TMZ confirms that Ye and the Russian model are "100% romantically involved", as evidenced by the latest paparazzi images of the couple, spotted out and about in the French region of Provence, on the occasion of the artist's 44th birthday. The magazine writes that "they were seen smiling and strolling around on the grounds of a luxury boutique hotel with some friends, but also by themselves ... looking very much like a couple." An eyewitness reported to  E! News that "they were taking pictures of each other and the sculptures. They looked incredibly happy and relaxed. It was just them and a few friends".

Kanye and Irina have known each other for more than 10 years. Their first official contact dates back to 2010 when the top model took part, in a super sexy angel version, as a special guest in the video for Power. A few months later, West mentioned her in a verse of the song Christian Dior Denim Flow: "I'm a freak, boo/I'm wildin, I'm on a thousand/I wanna see Irina Shayk next to Doutzen". Although he paid homage to her with these words, putting her on the list of women with whom he would like to "spend time with", she, who at that time was newly in a relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo ( who she dumped in 2015), never fell for the rapper's courtship. Over the years, Kanye's infatuation for Miss Shayk has never faded, so much so that he wanted her to wear his creations in Yeezy's autumn/winter fashion show during the PFW of 2012. Not even then was the spark and West has set aside the idea of conquering Irina, preferring to ask Kim Kardashian to marry him.

Both are concurrently simultaneously single for the first time. Kanye is divorcing Kim Kardashian and Irina, broke up with Vito Schnabel, the casanova gallery owner with had a brief flirtation after ending her relationship with Bradley Cooper with whom she had their daughter, Lea De Seine. In other words, all the stars seem to be aligned in the right position for the "crush" that West has had for years for the model to turn into a real love story. To confirm the feeling between the two (in case the shots of the paparazzi are not enough) there is a further clue: recently the Russian top was photographed around New York with the shirt-tribute to DMX, designed by the rapper for Balenciaga.

The news of the new couple seems to have reached even Kim Kardashian. This is revealed by the Sun who writes: "the dating rumors not bothered at all about it, no one in her circle appears to care or believe it. Even if it is true, I doubt she'll even be upset at this point." Will it be true?
