Everything you need to know about the new Jenner's baby
From the mysterious name change to the video revealing the details of the new pregnancy
March 22nd, 2022
On 2 February, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott became second parents. The announcement of the arrival of the new baby, a boy, was shared a few days later by his mother with a post on her official Instagram: a black and white shot showing Stormi's hand clasping his little brother's, accompanied by a short caption, "2/2/22", and the emoji of a blue heart. Since then, the family has practically renounced all public appearances, even sparing the publication of posts and stories. The same privacy was maintained during the pregnancy period. After Kylie announced to the world that she was pregnant, the Kylie Cosmetics founder's more than 309 million followers had to make do with a few rare baby bump selfies, a few stolen baby shower pictures with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and a few front rows at NYWF. Now that a few months have passed since the birth, the first details about Stormi's little brother are starting to emerge.
Postpartum issues
About a month after giving birth to her second son, Kylie posted an IG story to talk about postpartum issues and, in doing so, make women who are going through the same struggles as her feel less alone and misunderstood:
"I just want to say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy. It's not been easy, it's very hard. This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter. It's not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it's just crazy. I didn't want to just get back to life without saying that, because I think we can look on the Internet, and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the Internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and, like, put the pressure on us, but it hasn't been easy for me either, it's been hard."
Jenner calls for people to live this delicate phase of a woman's life peacefully and at their own pace, adding:
"And it's okay not to be okay. Once I realized that ... I was putting some pressure on myself, and I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human—a beautiful, healthy boy. And we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back—not even physically, just mentally—after birth."
The mystery of the name
On 11 February, Kylie announced that the new baby's name was Wolf, again with a story reading "Wolf Webster", accompanied by a little heart, on a black background. The terse message was reinforced by a birth certificate which later surfaced online, from which we discovered that Stormi's little brother's middle name was Travis Scott's real name, Jacques. It now appears, however, that the couple have had second thoughts:
"FYI our sons name isn't Wolf anymore. We just really didn't feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere."
Followers of the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are a little bewildered by this revelation and continue to wonder what the baby's (undisclosed) name is now. What do you think?
The video dedicated to the new baby
Along with the news of Wolf's name change, Kylie released a video dedicated to the arrival of her son, entitled To Our Son. It features private moments of the pregnancy: from the pregnancy test to the announcement of her new fatherhood to Travis Scott, from ultrasounds to doctor's appointments, from steak and red meat cravings to the excitement of Kylie's sisters and grandmother Kris Jenner over their new baby, from labor to snippets of the birth. The video also shows Stormi helping set up her baby brother's super chic nursery. As we continue to watch we also discover Jenner that the due date could have coincided with Stormi's birthday, February 1, but, instead, Wolf was born the next day, February 2, 2022.
The new baby stroller
In the last few hours, the model and influencer has posted pictures of the new baby stroller on social media. Stormi had a Fendi stroller, but her little brother's one is by Chrome Hearts, customized especially for Kylie in total black, including the brand's cross-shaped logo. Other details? The rear wheels are decorated with silver crosses in the center, while the pram handle is covered in black leather.
