Sarah Jessica Parker's apartment is on the market for $5.5 million. No, we are not talking about Carrie's famous one-bedroom apartment that we saw so many times in Sex and the City, but a luxurious penthouse in NY that the actress wants to get rid of. The exclusive abode is located at 366 Broadway inside The Collect Pond House condominium, an early 1900s building that has been completely renovated recently and stands 12 stories high on Tribeca's main street.
SPJ's penthouse is spread over 2 levels and has its real plus in the private rooftop terrace. Over 1,000 square feet equipped with an outdoor kitchen and breathtaking 360-degree views of New York City, from the Woolworth Tower to the Empire State Building, lending itself to cocktail parties and gardening, accessed via a staircase conceived by renowned architect Stephen Wanta. The extraordinary view of the Big Apple can also be admired from the huge triple-exposure windows, which, together with the high ceilings, wood floors, refined finishes and a color choice playing on neutral tones, ensures great brightness to all rooms. The main level of the house houses living, dining and kitchen areas furnished with custom cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances. The breakfast room, a small office and a bathroom are also located here.
Going up to the upper level are the three bedrooms with bathrooms and a media room with a movie theater. SPj, as well as Carrie, could not miss a master bedroom with a huge, custom-fitted walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool tub. In case she then wanted to invite the rest of the cast, from Charlotte to Miranda, the penthouse offers a guest room with private entrance and a laundry room.
