Chiara Ferragni devolves Sanremo 2023 cachet for philanthropic purposes

Chiara Ferragni's presence at Sanremo 2023 is all about style choices. From the pullover that reads "Girls supporting girls" worn by the digital entrepreneur at the press conference held on the occasion of her participation as co-host on the two evenings of the Festival, to the themes that Chiara will bring to the important stage of the Ariston, related to her firm stance against violence against women and in favor of women's empowerment across the board. "I have decided to donate 100 percent of the Sanremo Festival cachet to the D.i.Re. association, which runs more than 100 Anti-Violence Centers and more than 60 Shelter Houses throughout Italy with the aim of making the phenomenon of male violence against women visible, so that it is perceived by society as a serious violation of human rights and overcome," declares the influencer. D.i.Re has a welcoming approach that follows a direct and relational method in favor of women's cooperation, as told by Antonella Veltri, president of the association who is enthusiastic about Chiara's donation, calling it "more of a 4-handed project than a donation, because Chiara is present and proactive about our projects and initiatives." "I grew up surrounded by women who did not work and did not realize they were living in a condition of emotional and economic dependence. In my past relationships I suffered such forms of violence, and I used to look for justifications to my partners' devaluing ways when I should have recognized the problem and talked about it. I want to be an example for Italian women," says the Sanremo 2023 co-host, who will bring the awareness-raising issue to the stage during both evenings, with the full support and enthusiasm of Amadeus, Creative Director of the Festival. It will not be the monologue that will tell the audience about Chiara's chosen themes, and fashion will also play its role in communicating the chosen messages. The Chiara Ferragni brand will also contribute to raising awareness of the association's reality and raising awareness of the issue with a dedicated capsule collection, featured in the upcoming fall/winter 2023 collection, flanked by a donation already made and not connected to the number of garments sold. Chiara could not reveal anything about final decisions for Sanremo and invites everyone to wait for the Festival to find out more about what she will wear and how she will tell her values.
