Mare fuori, the popular series that tells the stories of the inmates of Naples' fictional juvenile detention centre, loosely based on Nisida Prison, returns with new episodes for its third season. After the first six episodes were released for streaming on 1 February and reached a record number of viewers, these and the remaining episodes will be available on Rai 2 from 15 February, further increasing the popularity of the Italian project and its protagonists, who have now become real stars. Fans are looking forward to seeing the cast again, who we will find on stage at the 2023 Sanremo Festival on Friday 10 February, to reveal some sneak peeks and sing the famous theme song "O Mar For" Among the young actors who are arousing curiosity, the most notable is Maria Esposito aka Rosa Ricci.

Rosa Ricci, the character

Rosa is one of the newcomers in Mare Fuori 3. The girl, who is the younger sister of Ciro and Pietro, volunteers to go to IPM in Naples to avenge Ciro's death and kill Carmine. However, a kind of love-hate relationship develops between the two, consisting of an undeniable attraction, shared painful experiences, complicity and obstacles along the way. As the two get to know each other, the girl's mission falters, paving the way for a diametrically opposed and more romantic development. Will the initial desire for revenge and contempt give way to a Romeo and Juliet dynamic? We will only find out as we watch the plot unfold.

Maria Esposito, the actress

Although her character remains an intriguing mystery, Maria Esposito, the actress who plays Rosa on screen, seems less mysterious (and dangerous) but just as mysterious. We know very little about her. She was born in Naples on 10 November 2003 under the astrological sign of Scorpio and was fascinated by the world of show business since she was a child. That's why she started studying both acting and dancing at an early age, as shown by the posts with a ballet dancer's outfit on her Instagram profile @mariaespositoreal. Mare Fuori is her big screen debut, a stepping stone that will surely lead her to a successful future and interesting projects where she can showcase her acting skills. The series produced by Rai has not only given Maria some notoriety but also love. The actress seems to be in a relationship with Antonio Orefice, Totò in the first two seasons of Mare Fuori. The two also walked the red carpet together at the Venice Film Festival and on this occasion, Maria wore a romantic red dress in the style of Emily in Paris and a soft bun.
