Where to watch Sanremo 2024 if you don't want to stay at home The events and appointments where to watch Sanremo 2024 away from home to turn the Festival into a true collective ritual

Ready. Set. Go. We're almost there. Tuesday, February 6th marks the beginning of Sanremo 2024, and it will accompany us throughout the week until the final on Saturday, February 10th. The hype around the Festival is escalating as the days approach, and simultaneously, information about who will take the stage at the Ariston Theater, what they will sing, how they will dress, who will make it to the top 3, and who will take home the FantaSanremo prize multiplies. We pretty much know everything. Or almost everything. Shall we do a quick review? This will be the last time as creative director and host for Amadeus, who, for the occasion, will be joined by Marco Mengoni, Giorgia, Teresa Mannino, Lorella Cuccarini, and Fiorello. In the competition, 30 artists will clash, including veterans like Fiorella Mannoia and Loredana Bertè, and newcomers to the most famous stage in Italy like Big Mama and Clara Soccini. Guests include Russell Crowe and John Travolta, and we already know the show won't end before two in the morning. We'll discover the other details night after night. The only remaining question we can answer is: where and with whom will we watch it?

The 74th edition of the Italian Song Festival will be broadcast live on Rai1, Radio2, and RaiPlay. The luckiest ones will see it in the Ariston audience (tickets sold out in less than 24 hours), most probably, others will watch the singers' performances comfortably from their own couch or gather at a friend's apartment to comment together. But there are also other possibilities. Various venues and associations organize collective viewings to hum the choruses, review the looks, and chat together, celebrating Sanremo as that all-Italian collective ritual that it truly is. G-Club has selected some around the peninsula.

Miscusi - La Finalissima di Sanremo

Combining food and Sanremo? It's possible thanks to Miscusi, a restaurant chain in Milan and Verona that has decided to organize a special event for the Festival final. On Saturday 10th, you can dine on pasta, the restaurant's specialty, while watching the performances of Fiorella Mannoia, Emma, Alessandra Amoroso, Mahmood, Irama, and other competing artists. Enjoying a good plate of ricotta and spinach tortellini or sorghum and corn fusilli with Genovese pesto might make the wrong notes and presenter gaffes more pleasant? Maybe.

When: Saturday, February 10th

Where: Miscusi, Corso Porta Nuova, Verona, or via G. Leopardi, 13, Milan, or viale Bligny, 7, Milan

Cost: 10 euros

Mercato Sonato - Salotto Sanremo

The Mercato Sonato is the cultural center of the San Donato neighborhood in Bologna, entirely managed by the Orchestra Senzaspine, a youth orchestra with over 400 members. On the occasion of the Sanremo Festival, the multifunctional spaces will host the live broadcast to follow the performances of the competing singers, admire their looks, and of all those who will take the stage at the Ariston. What's better than arguing with the neighboring seat that you might not know about whether Annalisa's song or Ghali's is better, whether Diodato or Alessandra Amoroso is more elegant?

When: from Tuesday, February 6th to Saturday, February 10th

Where: Mercato Sonato, via Tartini, 3, Bologna

Cost: Admission with Arci card

Arcigay Pegaso Catania - Sanremo Watch Party

Will Annalisa really win as the predictions want, or perhaps, will it be an outsider like Rose Villain? Will we learn the chorus of Geolier's or Negramaro's song first? Will Angelina Mango's look or Rose Villain's get more applause? Why not find out together with friends and strangers at the Sanremo Watch Party by Arcigay Pegaso Catania, a collective viewing that will follow all the festival nights. For the final, there will also be a fabulous Apericena (5€ per dish) and many surprises.
