The Kennedy political dynasty originates in Ireland. Their peak of political and social power came in the twentieth century. The patriarch of the family was Joseph P. Kennedy Sr, a successful diplomat and businessman. He had 9 children with his wife Rose Fitzgerald. The most famous was surely John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States of America. He was assassinated in 1963, and his brother met the same sad fate in 1968. JFK was married to Jacqueline Bouvier, considered an immortal style icon. John and Jacqueline's son, JFK Jr., married Carolyn Bessette, a publicist, art director, and model. Both died in a plane crash in 1999. They were considered one of the most beautiful and inspirational couples of the nineties. The Kennedy in the spotlight today is Jack, son of Caroline, and nephew of Jacqueline and JFK.

Why do we like them so much?

Handsome, cursed, powerful. Their charm is hereditary. JFK was a young and charismatic leader and represented a new way of understanding political power. As if that wasn't enough, the Kennedys were and are elegant, and often - especially in the United States of America - are compared in influence and importance to the British royal family, also in the strategic choice of life partners, which has helped them consolidate their status in pop culture and entertainment. Moreover, they have shown great resilience and strength in the face of the tragedies they have suffered, have shown interest in artistic and social causes as well as political ones, and have been the subject of documentaries, books, and films. In short, they carry an aura of prestige and progressive power, including the Kennedy curse, which we want to be a part of, actively (an entire generation of women has dreamed of marrying a Kennedy) or as spectators.

All of this culminates in Jack, the contemporary Kennedy, who is 31 years old (he was born on January 19, 1993, in New York, making him a Capricorn), is single, and doesn't seem to take himself too seriously. In the past, he has been romantically linked to Selena Gomez, although the rumors were never confirmed.
