The world of food online is vast and diverse. There are creators who explain every detail of what they cook, for whom and why, how they come up with their creations, and who provide ingredient lists and measurements. Then, there are those who just eat, chatting with their followers while making a breakfast sandwich. Some have found in cooking their job, their greatest passion, a way to distance themselves from a past marked by a challenging relationship with food. For others, food serves as a bridge, connecting them to their own culture or that of their parents and grandparents. In short, food is a highly appreciated type of content, and creators approach it in their own unique and personal ways. Here are our favorites, both Italian and international.

Gloria is about to get married, works as a teacher, and loves coffee and chocolate. While her videos aren't strictly tutorials, they still revolve around the world of food, with her kitchen serving as the backdrop for all her experiments and creations, from fruit jam to chocolate ice cream. Gloria's videos don't always provide precise recipes, but they make you feel like company and spark a desire to eat and enjoy food, to try new combinations and flavors.

You don't need to prepare elaborate dishes to be happy with what you eat. Mads tries everything, has a passion for Korean food, and isn't afraid of chili peppers, pickles, or canned fish. What a palette!

Thank you to Sara for sharing a box of several Delamaris products and providing advice on how to use them. Taste This is made from Atlantic mackerel with seven vegetables and tomato sauce. While the individual vegetable pieces may not be immediately distinguishable, they readily soak up the tomato and fish flavor. The fish dumplings have a strong fish taste, if you’re looking for something milder than a sardine this isn’t for you. Texture The two dumplings don’t have additional binder, just mackerel and vegetables. It’s soft but not spreadable, unique from everything else I’ve tried thus far. It breaks apart easily with a fork into very fine flakes of fish.

Our favorite, though, is the Italian Clarissa, who creates vegan recipes that are accessible to everyone, providing all the information needed to replicate them at home. Clarissa challenges culinary purism and promotes conscious cooking that's mindful not only of the environment and animals but also of the users’ needs, acknowledging their increasingly busy lives, where there's less and less time to devote to preparing vegan meals.
