The magical world of Charli XCX's remixes
The listening party is all about new things, and the people involved are the most talked about at the moment
October 11th, 2024
Conquering the summer wasn’t enough for Charli XCX, who already made waves with her album Brat, splashing acid green everywhere in sight. Following the iconic green cover album with bold black font, she released a remix album featuring all the hottest names right now, including Lorde and Billie Eilish, who were already part of Girl, So Confusing and Guess respectively, alongside Ariana Grande, Addison Rae, and Troye Sivan, who joins her on their joint Sweat tour across North America.
The Listening Party at Warner Music Italy and the Featured Artists
The album, titled "Brat and it's completely different but also still brat", dropped today October 11, and we were lucky enough to have an exclusive early listen. As big fans of the original, we couldn’t miss the chance, and it left us both entertained and intrigued. We were especially surprised to find new collaborations with Robyn, Julian Casablancas, and Bon Iver on this remix album.
A Remix Album That Truly Delivers Remixes
In this light, "Brat and it's completely different but also still brat" stands as a true remix album, with songs that have been reimagined and reinterpreted, featuring new verses and sounds, welcoming its featured artists with open arms. Not only that, it serves as a window into today's alternative and pop music, showcasing all its diverse shades. Once again, Charli XCX takes center stage, but this time, she's not alone.
