Beautiful and cool, Lous and the Yakuza made a name for herself with her style and music, a combination of French trap and direct, powerful lyrics describing her life childhood and her current life around Congo, Rwanda and Europe. After the success with Dilemme, followed by the remix version ft. tha Supreme and Mara Sattei, the singer is ready to hit the radio airplay with Bon Acteur. The song is the story of a romance fueled by games and lies but also tinged with hope. The trap joins the pop and gets sweeter while the lyrics describe how romance can quickly turn into pain when the love is split between violence and tenderness, war and peace, desire and resignation.

Bon Acteur, releasing on Friday July 10, but already available digitally, was presented in an exclusive live session for Colors studios and previews the release in autumn of her debut album Gore. The work, which is produced by Spanish peoducer El Guincho (collaborator of Rosalía) and recorded between Paris, Brussels and Barcelona, sounds like a powerful mix of trap and ballad, mixing French, English and Kinyarwanda, the language spoken in Congo and Rwanda.

The lyrics reflect Lous' life: from her childhood in Rwanda destroyed by genocide to her arrival in Belgium, till her struggle to become an artist.

Life is a bitch, but is worth living - said the singer talking about the album - I want to set an example as a black woman who made it, all by herself, against all odds. I want to give the example of a black woman who made it, alone, against all expectations. I want the music to be honest, I want the lyrics to be true to a brutal reality. I love when the truth and reality hits you in the face and I hope that's what my album is.

With the new project Lous wants to express strength and hope, the value of resilience and, as she told in the Selfie Interview to nss G-Club, the importance of being honest and to become the best version of ourselves, always reminding us how we all are unique and precious.
