What is Tablescaping? We went from getting dressed up to dressing up our tables for the holidays

Those, like Carrie Bradshaw, who claimed to have "a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear" during these long lockdowns have certainly had the opportunity to tidy up the wardrobe as much as their style choices. And what about all the energies we put into making the home a true concentrate of fashion, clicking on all the most prestigious home decor websites to have the most popular crockery and accessories on Instagram. Well, it is from the Instagram influencers that the trend of tablescaping, or table setting, is now a big deal. And for the "aesthetes" this trend became intriguing. For this Christmas, therefore, our wishlist won't be full with shiny shoes and party dresses, but will rather revolve around amazing tableware.

Decorating the table, during the holidays as well as for all the other days of the year, has become one of the favorite mottos of this strange 2020. And for those who are tired of preparing it just for themselves, see it as a workout for when it will finally be possible host house parties again. nss G-Club identified 4 tablescaping Christmas trends to discover and replicate during the holidays.

New Classic

There are many people who - even for Christmas - cannot stand too many frills and decorations and prefer minimalism: by choosing neutral tones or classic black and white, you will get a great result - not at all cold and boring - without using too many colors!

Eclectic pink

For all pink lovers, a little pink vibe cannot be missing on the Christmas table. An original, chic, versatile table, to be used during all Christmas holidays to surprise the (few) guests and yourself too!

Christmas village

Rather than at the table, it seems to be in the village of Santa Claus, with reindeers, wooden and gingerbread houses, trees, sledges and elves. A Winter Wonderland directly on your table!

Obviously, tablescaping can potentially be very expensive, considering all the necessities to set the table and also adding some Santa Claus and snowflakes. But look beyond the big brands - even if Jacquemus and Gucci are always mouth watering - there are in fact goodies, including Italian ones, capable of making the home truly influential, with affordable prices. Where to start? For example, peering at the coolest Christmas tables on Instagram, from those of designer Fiona Leahy Design to Maison Margaux. And then documenting yourself well on the brands to have: 10 nss G-Club suggests them to you in the next gallery.
