From New York to Paris, the cycle of Women's Fall/Winter 2020 Fashion Weeks ended yesterday. During Paris Fashion Week, backstages were the reference point for anyone wishing to find beauty inspiration.
All this is possible thanks to the mastery of make up artists such as Pat McGrath, who recreates on the models of Valentino a graphic eyeliner as well as Peter Philips did for Dior. For Maison Margiela and Dries Van Noten catwalks, however, the choice falls on colors, but not monochromatic: color block effects and different shades of color are used.
Guido Palau's hairstyles are always the most appreciated, from the iconic Dior scarves used as a hair accessory, to the wet effect chosen for Valentino.
As for the previous editions of New York, London and Milan, also for Paris we have selected the best beauty looks, among unforgettable make-up and hairstyles, and
a mini shopping guide to try to replicate them. Enjoy!
VALENTINO
Valentino's beauty looks, created by the combo of legends
Pat McGrath and
Guido Palau, include a graphic eyeliner embellished with
small "studs" in total black that illuminate the eyes, and very smooth and wet-effect hair worn on one side of the forehead. The jewels are bold and chunky, but very elegant, just like the whole look.

DIOR
Also for
Dior,
Guido Palau is the artistic director for hairstyle and hair accessories: Guido chooses to use
Dior monogram scarves to recreate different effects and hairstyles, such as the bandana and the headband. The make-up, created by
Peter Philips, who applies a marked eyeliner on a bare base with slightly curved eyelashes, accentuating the 70s mood.

MAISON MARGIELA
Once again the protagonist is
PatMcGrath and her
use of colors, with contrasting shades. Lavender and blue eyeshadow plus black eyeliner mixed with the orange texture of the eyebrows (colored eyebrows are one of the coolest trends of the year!) are the key looks.
Eugene Souleiman alternates for the hairstyles slick hair with graphic details, masks, and headbands.

DRIES VAN NOTEN
Also on the catwalk of
Dries Van Noten the protagonist is the color, starting from
Sam Knight's hairstyle, who applies
colored feathers to the hairline, creating a colorful and '70s-inspired regrowth effect.
Inge Grognard at the direction of make-up, chooses shaded eyeshadows above and below the eye in different shades and textures, and lipsticks that vary from red to burgundy.

GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
Giambattista Valli's looks are glamorous and theatrical, the models look like gothic princesses: to a total nude make-up, some light points around the eyes are added by the make-up artist
Ismaya Ffrench, who applied glitter to surround the eyes. Hairstyles are composed of hair accessories such as headbands, lace veils and
jewel accessories.
