What is armocromia and how does it work Applied to the beauty world, it helps us choose the right products

How many times do you happen to feel dull, low in tone, aware that inside you there is a light that you are not able to express, and you blame the stress for this? Well, you should know that it is not like that at all.. the reason is different and it has to do with colours.

When it comes to beauty, in fact, it is almost impossible not to think about colours: the harmony of shades has been, since ancient times, a fundamental reference in the aesthetic canons. Each woman has "her" colours and each of us belongs to a "season". This is, essentially, the magic of armocromia.

The theory was developed by an American cosmetologist - Berenice Kentner - in the 70s through the book "Color me a Season" which inspired the theory of the seasons, according to which people are divided into four types: Winter, Summer, Spring and Autumn. The author has in fact toured the country providing seminars and workshops to teach the analysis of seasonal color and has become the most important authority in the world on the subject. A topic that has been recently brought back by Rossella Migliaccio - the guru of the colour test of the seasons in Italy - with the book “Armocromia. The method of friendly colours that revolutionizes life and not only the image ", useful for identifying your ideal palette, discovering the shades that enhance you and learning to bring out your charm and your uniqueness through the magical universe of colours.

Also in terms of beauty, color wants its part! The theory of armochromia in fact can also be applied to make-up to enhance our features taking into account the palette of skin, eyes and hair. But how can we understand what our colors are? The analysis is not simple and to perform it perfectly you need technique, experience and professional materials but - in the meantime - at nss G Club we can start to reveal all the achromatic types and the perfect colour palettes for each one with the addition of a mini shopping guide with the ideal products! Are you ready?

WINTER

Typical of the Mediterranean woman, it includes those ladies with olive skin and black hair, but also those with lighter skin, dark hair and light contrasting eyes. The reference colors for these people are cold, bright and dark shades, such as white, black, gray, blue and magenta red. Orange and beige fail.

SUMMER

Summer women typically have delicate colors: they can be blonde, but also with light brown hair. The pastel and mother-of-pearl shades adapt very well to this typology; on the other hand, too vivid and aggressive colors, especially in warm and orange tones, are instead their enemies.

SPRING

Normally she has blonde hair, not very light, or even wheat and dark blonde, but always with warm and bright reflections. Its complexion is clear, ivory or beige, but with a warm and therefore radiant undertone. It is the most varied palette, both as a type of woman and as a colour: they look good both with beige/apricot and with blue, but they always prefer warm and bright shades. Enemy colours: grey and black.

FALL

A heterogeneous palette, where the colours of the autumn woods and spices stand out: we go from brunettes to blondes, passing through red ones. What they have in common is the warm undertone and above all the medium-low intensity. The girls who belong to this season match perfectly with the warm earth tones: orange, copper, brown and ivory.
