Rihanna's fans have been waiting for this moment: Fenty Skin will be on sale at Sephora. From December 26, the wide selection of Fenty Beauty will be completed with new skincare products, until now available on the official website of the brand. The line, which was developed by mixing the world's best ingredients with others of proven effectiveness such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, uses vegan, oil-free and gluten-free formulations, enclosed in sustainable and recyclable packaging. All of Fenty Skin's products will become must-haves in our beauty routine: from Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All, a 2-in-1 makeup remover with a creamy texture, to the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, a toner-serum hybrid that minimizes pores and uniforms skin texture; from the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer SPF 30, a face cream with sun protection perfect as a makeup base, to the Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream with its rich texture that moisturizes, revitalizes and reduces light wrinkles. A perfect gift to celebrate the new year and try Fenty Skin can be Start'r Set which contains mini-sized Total Cleans'r, Fat Water, and Hydra Vizor.
After changing the world of makeup forever with a super-inclusive foundation selection that boasts over 40 shades and dozens of must-have products, last summer, Rihanna entered the skincare industry with Fenty Skin.
The first rumours started several months ago. Page Six unveiled part of the file submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which told the new line would included: "medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding colour cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators." While thanks to Elle we have heard the names of several of the previewed products highlighting Fenty skin's focus on hydration: Buff Ryder, Instant Reset, Fat Water, Flash Nap, Hydra Vizor. The confirmation came from the same pop star with a long interview for British Vogue.
Yes, it's true. Whether it works or not, it's done. - said Riri, explaining that the goal of the project is to set a new and better standard for the category - Skincare, it’s the truth. It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide. I refuse to release anything that is not up to par with my quality level.
The launch coincided with the inauguration of the brand's official accounts, sharing a video in which she uses some products for the beauty routine: a cleanser that, when applied, becomes a soft foam; a tonic and, finally, a moisturizing cream.
The true sin would be leaving my guys out! Not up in here! No matter who you are, you deserve to have great skin!
These are Riri's words highlighting the genderless spirit of Fenty Skin, starting with the campaign starring A$AP Rocky, Lil Nas X. The slogan, which announced a small revolution in the industry, was "the new culture of beauty".
Fenty Skin products are available on the brand's official website and, from December 26, 2020, also at Sephora, online and in stores.
