Zara Beauty is launching the first make up collection
"There is no beauty, only beauties"
May 3rd, 2021
The beauty world is not entirely new to the fast fashion giant Zara, which in 2019 debuted in the beauty industry with a collection of lipsticks and last year designed perfumes in collaboration with Jo Malone.
What seems to be the first official beauty collection of the Spanish brand is coming soon, announced on social channels with two video teasers. To present the collection, 9 of the most talented photographers of the moment - including Steven Meisel, David Sims, Zoë Ghertner, Craig McDean, Nadine Ijewere, Mario Sorrenti and Fabien Baron - created their own portraits of the beauty looks by Diane Kendal, creative director of Zara Beauty and make-up artist always in the backstage of London, New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks.
The slogan "there is no beauty, only beauties" underlines what will be the inclusive direction and mood of the beauty collection, stating that beauty is found in the diversity and uniqueness of each of us.
"Our ambition was to create a collection that anyone, regardless of gender, skin color, age, or personal style will want to use"- stated Eva Lopez, beauty director of Zara.
Zara Beauty collection will be presented globally on May 12th, and will include make-up products for eyes, lips, nails, face, and also accessories. Ingredients are vegan and formulas are clean, packagings are recyclable and there will be over 175 different colors available, making the collection green and inclusive.
