R.E.M. Beauty launches a Wicked-themed collection

Wicked, the adaptation of the iconic Broadway musical, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. For several months, the first images of the musical, which tells the story of what happened before The Wizard of Oz, have been circulating. It focuses on the friendship between Glinda and Elphaba, roommates at the magical college of Shiz, navigating magic, daily life, and first loves until rivalry sparks. The result? The hype has skyrocketed, thanks in part to the looks of the two characters, portrayed on screen by Ariana Grande, the Good Witch of the East with long blonde hair and a fluffy pink evening gown, and Cynthia Erivo as the Wicked Witch of the West, with green skin, a large pointed hat, a black dress paired with a cloak, and a broom in hand. To celebrate the project, Grande has decided to sprinkle a little magic on all of us with a limited edition R.E.M. Beauty collection inspired by Wicked, where both the products and packaging draw inspiration from the film's costumes and set. The collection consists of nine pieces, including eyeshadow palettes, blush, lipsticks, lip oil, and skincare products like eye masks and hydrating drops. There’s also a lip oil that changes color depending on the skin's pH.

Galinda Set

Inspired by Ariana Grande's character in Wicked, Glinda, the Galinda Set plays with pink tones. It includes a liquid eyeshadow in a soft, shimmering lavender; a gel liner in a vibrant periwinkle; blush and lipstick in a sheer fuchsia; and lastly, a matte lipstick in a metallic pink shade.

Elphaba Set

The Elphaba Set, an homage to the Wicked Witch of the West, includes a sparkling liquid eyeshadow in emerald green and champagne gold; a gel liner in olive green with black reflections, blush and lipstick in plum tones and the Color Changing Lipstick that shifts from black to burgundy. Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette

A palette could not be missing from the collection. The packaging resembles the book version of The Wizard of Oz and contains twelve eyeshadows inspired by fairy tale books, the film's sets, Glinda, and Elphaba. They're all long-lasting and high-impact, ranging from metallic to matte shades, from pink to green.

So Popular pH Adaptive Lip Oil

It's a lip oil that adapts to pH levels, changing color based on who wears it. It transforms into a unique shade of vibrant pink. Lip gloss collectors will fall in love with its charming packaging, reminiscent of Glinda's wand.

 Galinda Glow Drops
