Converse launches the All the Stories are True campaign The stories of brave, strong and independent girls ready to change the world

"Find solutions where others see problems. Always live to stand out and be yourself, ignore the haters, and do everything you can achieve your dreams."

Stephanie Kurlow's words. 17 years old, a visceral passion for dance and an even greater determination. Despite her young age, she has clear ideas about her future: to become the first professional dancer with a veil. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she has cultivated her dream since she was just a child and is not willing to let any obstacle stop her. So, when a couple of years ago, one by one the dance schools refused to admit it because of her hijab, Stephanie didn't get discouraged, but opened a fundraising campaign, with the minimum goal of reaching 10 thousand euros, to pay for a dance school and maybe one day be able to open a performing art school where young people of every culture and religion have the opportunity to cultivate their passions, in a context devoid of cultural, social and religious differences.

This is just one of the strong and independent girls chosen by Converse for All the Stories are True, the advertising campaign for the Love The Progress collection. The project, created by an all-female team, revisits the classic Chuck 70 silhouette with a soft premium leather upper, bold graphics and messages that incite to fight for equality on the midsole.

To introduce the new sneakers to the world, Converse has decided to tell the stories of girls who have built their own path, chasing their dreams and passions without limits and preconceptions, inspiring others to do the same. The message is simple, but always necessary to reiterate:

"Your words and ideas count: YOU have the power to trigger change."

Thus the new campaign celebrates at the same time this selection of feminine sneakers and women's empowerment. Together with Stephanie Kurlow and Millie Bobby Brown, among the other protagonists of All the Stories are True are the self-defense instructor Qin Yungquan, the non-conformist musician Naomi Preizler and the technology expert Kasia Gola.
