Lingerie: a piece of clothing to show off
Never hiding our favorite lace dresses and corsets again
February 11th, 2020
You know that Valentine's Day is approaching, and at nss G-Club we are already in the mood, so why don't we talk about lingerie? Scrolling through the galleries of the Men's Fashion catwalks of last January, we have identified some trends that we will find on the catwalks (and not only) throughout 2020: among these, the bold theme of lingerie "on sight" is what we want to explore further.
Not only it is a much-debated topic - in fact, underwear on sight is not always considered a sign of good taste - but it also leaves room for an infinite variety of garments and fabrics used by brands in an effective and "strategic" way to be worn as underwear or as a real piece of clothing.
In fact, we talk much about corsets and bustiers but also dresses in silk and lace, bodysuits, baby-dolls, sports bra, which are becoming the protagonists of outfits that can be worn every day or on special occasions such as a romantic and a little spicy Valentine's evening.
Despite being a current trend, it recalls the past and archival fashion: we cannot forget the 90s fashion shows by Helmut Lang full of lace and see-through effects, the pastel-coloured bustiers by Jean Paul Gaultier, the mini (and maxi) light dresses and romantic baby dolls by Prada and Versace, just to name a few.
The most recent trend is about the sports bra, worn on sight and in contrast with more elegant garments for a sporty-chic look.
We prepared a mini shopping guide, signed nss G-Club, with lingerie-clothing to give a sexy and original twist to your Valentine's Day, or simply to your wardrobe. We like to risk, so why not?
