The debut of Alabama Muse, the animal friendly fur brand
Presented during the MFW with an exclusive event featuring Myss Keta

Alabama Whitman was the eccentric rebel played by Patricia Arquette in the highly stylish '90s cult movie True Romance. This unique and iconic character inspired Alice Gentilucci when she decided to found her own brand Alabama Muse.
After making her bones working as a stylist for celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Gwen Stefani, the designer made her debut with the FW20 collection during the last Milano Fashion Week. The focus of the project are furs, 100% animal friendly, produced in Japanese modacrylic fiber and made in Italy. The choice of models is wide: long-haired, combed, shaved and frisé. The volumes are slim and over for jackets and coats, all embellished with precious details, inlays, patchwork that combine different furs, contrasting colour linings and internal straps that allow you to wear furs on your shoulders, as if they were wings. Colorful, funny and with a Seventies mood, the items recall the iconic it-girl looks of Marianne Faithfull and Courtney Love.
The Alabama Muse collection was presented during the MFW with an exclusive event featuring Myss Keta and the girls from P.ta Venezia, photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, burlesque artist Janet Fischietto and Chinese model Mr. Lu Xianren.
