All sneakerheads and fans of Billi Eilish are buzzing because collaboration between the pop star and Jordan Brand seems to be about to hit the stores. The rumors began to run a while ago after that in September 2020 Gentry Humphrey, the vice president of footwear of the U.S. company, talking about future projects had mentioned the partnership:

You see us doing things with folks like Aleali May, you see us, gonna be doing some things with folks like Billie Eilish. All of their insights will provide us with an opportunity to create a definitive point of view that represents the female consumer.

Although there is still no official confirmation from any of the partners, some weeks ago appeared the shot of a file on which you can clearly see the logo of Eilish next to that of Nike and Jordan Brand. Shortly after, this little hint was followed by the proper images of the sneaker

Billie Eilish x Air Jordan 1 High Volt features a neon green leather upper (the California singer's signature color), stitching that runs through the side and medial panels, and extra cushioning that gives it an eye-catching design. On the tongue, there is Eilish's Blohsh instead of the standard Nike Swoosh logo, while on the insole of the shoe there is the typical Jumpman surrounded by the words "BILLIE EILISH".

According to @zSneakerheadz and @chriscolgan, the release date for the new sneaker could be September 9. The drop could, in addition, be accompanied by some apparel, thus making the joy of all the fans who can't wait to add the model to their wardrobe, but also of Billie herself who wears Air Jordans very often and has expressed more than once her passion for this shoe. In fact, in a 2018 interview she said:

One thing I love about Jordans is that there are so many of them. It’s like one, two, three, four, five, six, and it just goes on and on. It’s still going. I like that it doesn’t really have an end. If some person doesn’t like one, they can like another one. You can like all of them, you can hate all of them, but I love all of them, really. Each shoe is a personality in itself.
