Malone Souliers presents its first sneaker collection for fall-winter 2021. The brand, famous for its bold, feminine footwear that stands out for its made in Italy craftsmanship and refined design, faces the new adventure with the same standard of excellence.
"Introducing the sneakers is a great moment for our company, which has always supported an approach aimed at comfort and aesthetics." - says founder and creative director Mary Alice Malone - "It was a wonderful opportunity to turn the details that make our shoes so special into casual styles that can be worn almost on any occasion, in any season. The final result is a great new expression of everything we are: flawless craftsmanship, incredible comfort and a design that offers something refreshingly different."
The new collection includes two low-top models with soft calfskin and nappa leather uppers and flexible rubber soles, that have in common an essential style that combines comfort, versatility and clean shapes, inspired by 1960s sportswear. Both have a rounded toe on which the signature strap detail stands out, with a matching stripe on the heel tab and contrasting binding on the tongue.
Musa, the first model, is decorated by a graphic pattern of the upper that revisits the asymmetrical lines of Malone Souliers' logo. Deon, the second sneaker, on the other hand, features a graphic pattern that runs through the sole and runs along the upper in one piece, including the eyelet section. The female and unisex shoes are available in a color palette that includes black, white, gray, bronze and rose gold; the brand also created a brown or pine-colored suede version and one in classic white or black leather with contrasting red or blue details.
