Off-White launches a new campaign dedicated to the Burrow Bag. Introduced for the first time in February 2021 as an evolution of the Meteor Shower graphic motif with its circular carving, which was itself inspired by the craters formed by the meteorite rain, it quickly became one of the most beloved accessories of last spring-summer, worn by celebrities and influencers. Now Virgil Abloh's creation is back for the FW21 season in the new sage green and orange colorways, but also with the brand new Rock Burrow print. This unconventional texture mimicking a real piece of granite was made using a special multi-step digital printing and polishing technique. The look of the bag is completed by metal hardware with a slightly aged effect and a black nappa leather lining.
In Fabien Montique' shots, the Burrow Bag is worn by DJ and producer Honey Dijon and supermodel Candice Swanepoel, personally chosen by Abloh for their strength and charisma.
The Burrow Bag is the latest evolution of the meteor shower, which to me, is a standing representation of the strength of women and their invaluable contributions to our society as a whole. - The founder and Chief Creative Director of Off-White said - Naturally two of the strongest women I know, Honey Dijon and Candice, are the perfect icons to bring strength, heroism, and female empowerment to life. Each is a meteor in their own right, blazing their own paths and leaving a distinct mark on the world surrounding them.
The new Burrow Bag Off-White FW21 collection, which is also celebrated in a mural by Costanza Starrabba in Milan, is available on the brand's website, at Off-White stores and selected partners around the world.
