The Nike Air Force 1 "Mushroom" by Billie Eilish is coming this month
Together with a mini capsule of loungewear

Following the success of the Air Jordan 15 and Air Jordan 1 KO, Billie Eilish has decided to revisit the iconic Nike Air Force 1 High.
"I'm so excited to announce my new collection of apparel and @nike air force 1. it was an honor to reimagine the originals while making them my own & i can’t WAIT for them to be yours."
The singer writes on Instagram, pointing out that while leaving the DNA of the US giant's iconic model intact, the new trainer has its own style and sustainable vibe.
"The challenge and opportunity with this collection was to respect the originals, but make them my own. It was also important for me to mix in environmentally preferred materials where we could and present them in a way that felt fresh."
The result of this restyling is a monochromatic model, with the upper made up of 80% recycled materials, declined in premium beige suede, or rather "Mushroom", and a midsole made of Nike Grind. The new shoe differs from the OG version in its lacing system: five Velcro straps that start from the toe and go all the way down to the ankle. "Bloshsh", the Eilish logo, appears on the dubrae and on the shoe box, where we can read the same secret message that also appears on the cork insoles: "It's hard to stop it once it starts".
Paraphrasing the words coming with the release of the AF1, the collaboration with Nike is also hard to stop once it starts. It seems, in fact, that the partnership between the brand and Billie is destined to continue into the future, at least reading Nike's statement on Instagram:
"Billie’s style and sense of self has been an inspiration to many. The launch of our first-ever collection with one of the most innovative and multifaceted artists in the game is just the beginning."
The Nike Air Force 1 "Mushroom" will be available from 24 April at Billie's store and from 25 April on the Nike SNKRS app. Along with the new trainer, Nike will release a capsule of loungewear inspired by Eilish's wardrobe in the same Mushroom shade as the AF1: a boxy T-shirt, an oversized hoodie and sweatpants.
