Gigi Hadid is launching her own fashion brand

Does Bella have the adaptogenic Kin Euphorics and Gigi Hadid drinks? Until now, the eldest of the top sisters has preferred to focus on her modeling career and her role as a mother, indulging only in a few capsule collaborations such as the one with Frankie Bikinis, but that is about to change: Gigi is about to launch her own clothing line called Guest in Residence, of which, according to her new Instagram bio, she is founder and creative director. On Wednesday, Aug. 4, Gigi published a post accompanied by the caption "been workin on something.... with love, @guestinresidence," along with emoticons of a heart, a spool of thread, a smiley face and, most importantly, a series of backstage images of her examining color and fabric swatches and trying on garments. A pastel color palette and loungewear style stand out. We imagine that the brand will focus on knitwear, with a range of colorful knitwear with cozycore or cottagecore vibes, and that it will end up sold out in a very short time.

For now, there are no details about the release of the first collection, but the hype is already high, especially from Gigi's friends who have commented with congratulatory and encouraging messages on the news. Bella Hadid wrote that it's "what we’ve all been waiting for" followed by a series of heart emoji, Hailey Bieber said she was thrilled, as did fashion commentator Tan France and fans of the model. Will the eldest of the Hadid sisters be able to stand out and establish herself in a market already saturated with celebrity brands now that it seems Kylie Jenner is also on the rocks with her Kylie Cosmetics?
