Bella Hadid has a secret Depop account
An online resource to find out where the model discovers some of the cult pieces of her personal style
April 12th, 2023
There's no denying that there are many elements behind Bella Hadid's success and popularity, from her beauty to her vulnerable demeanour, but in this particular mix, her style plays an important role. Colourful, fun, sexy, eclectic, the model's wardrobe is filled with pieces from young brands, precious vintage pieces, often by Jean Paul Gaultier, and many others from the 1990s or early 2000s. From time to time, especially for red carpet occasions, she turns to stylists like Law Roach, but generally she puts her outfits together herself, browsing boutiques, flea markets and online platforms for tops, trousers, dresses and accessories. Rumours have been circulating on social media for some time that Miss Hadid has a secret account on Depop, @princesspeach310, which she uses for shopping, but not for resale, at least for now.
@yvessaintlaurel Who remembers my original post where I find Bella’s secret Depop account after she mentioned having one in Vogue lol #yvessaintlaurel #fashiontok #depop #bellahadidstyleinspo #secondhandfashion original sound - Yves Saint Laurel
A New York Post article from last year, which spotted old Bella looks and traced their origins on the app, also backs up this rumour. A few examples? the 90s neon bikini from @electricheartz, the Oring trousers from @susamusa and a 2000s Ed Hardy t-shirt from @dutchfonzie. All the deals are being tracked by @princesspeach310. Also, the reporter examines the purchases made through the alleged secret account and compares them to pieces Bella wore to prove it was indeed the celebrity's depop. There's the red Miss Sixty tank top sold by @timelesswear, seen in an Instagram post from March 2021; the Von Dutch jeans worn in April of the same year; the NBA class logo T-shirt paired with the anti-Covid mask; the Guess suede jacket worn for a selfie, and many other vintage boots and T-shirts that likely ended up in Bella's wardrobe.
Did the evidence convince you? Do you also believe that @princesspeach310 is Bella Hadid's Depop account? Maybe, but if you want to explore the app and get inspiration for your looks from the purchases of other contemporary it-girls, check out the accounts of Olivia Rodrigo (@oliviarodrigo), Charli XCX (@itscharlixcxbaby), Emma Chamberlain (@emmachambie) or Devon Lee Carlson (@devonleecarlson).
