Skims by Kim Kardashian is worth 1.6 Billion USD

Just a few days ago it was announced by Forbes that Kim Kardashian officially entered the list of billionaires. According to the magazine, the celebrity's assets in the last 6 months have increased to the point of reaching the prestigious figure, thanks above all to her two brands KKW Beauty and Skims.

The shapewear and loungewear brand launched by the star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians just 3 years ago, has recently reached a value of 1.6 billion USD, following a round of huge serie A funding from venture capitals like Thrive Capital, Imaginary Ventures and Alliance Consumer Growth. This funding will be used by SKIMS to continue for product innovation, expansion into new categories, and the potential opening of physical stores.

Also thanks to the pandemic and the many lockdowns, loungewear has become more and more a trend in recent months and sales are constantly increasing: since 2018 when the brand was founded, it has already sold over four million units.
